Yoga Adventures through a Child’s Eyes
I wanted to share with you some of the art work and pages of yoga journals that my Rainbow Warriors have created for me and themselves from some of my Rainbow Yogis classes.
Here are some beautiful rainbows for Rainbow Pammy from her smallest warriors. Our toddler yoga and 3-5 years classes.

In my after school yoga classes, I encourage the children to start a yoga journal and to bring it along to class every week. In our journals we create our Grateful Project, where the children can write or draw or stick pictures/photos of three things they are grateful for every week or as often as they can.
The children also enjoy creating art about the yoga adventure we may have gone on that day, a favourite or made up yoga pose or images from a guided meditation. The children are encouraged to be as creative as possible as often as they feel. The yoga journal is a positive feel good experience that all children can enjoy and document the first stages of their yoga journey.

Yoga, art and creative expression are important to a child’s development. Expressing feelings of all sorts in a creative way can be very theraputic and rewarding. Yoga is a form of self expression and a way of life in which you are choosing to become your full self. These yoga journals and drawings can help a child express and bring to life emotions of all types.
I love receiving and reading all my little Rainbow Warriors creations. Keep them coming friends.
