Saving a Baby Bird!

By Rainbow AJ!

Hi my name is AJ I am nine years old. I have always wanted to be an animal rescuer and today I had the chance to be one. Well it all started when I was at school and I was called out to the front office. I saw that my mum was there and she told me that she rescued a baby bird! “Oh wow” I said.

I named it Enid Night and we were taking it to the Darling Range Wildlife Shelter.

When we got there I said goodbye to Enid and gave her a gentle hug.

The lady said that we could set it free in our garden when it is better. She also said that it must have fallen out of its nest and will have to be tube fed. I cant wait until I see her when she is better. I am so glad that I saved a baby bird.

A big thanks to the Darling Range Wildlife Shelter from all of us at Rainbow Yogis! You guys are amazing!
